“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). At this time of the year everything is new; a new calendar year, a new outlook on life, and new plans for areas of life, including a diet plan. Change is inevitable, but who is directing that change is important. Our relationship with Jesus should and will create a change in how you live, so this year look at the new that your growing relationship with Jesus will bring.
December was a busy month of events for both Mission Kids and the Youth Group. Christmas caroling was so much fun with singing, cookies, and hot chocolate. Thank you to all the adults who came and helped transport students. The holiday meal was well-attended delicious meal with fellowship and fun. Thank you Isaiah and Ashley for the game time for the students. Christmas Gone Wrong Christmas Extravaganza was a blast! Over the top decorations, food, and games. Congratulations to our Christmas Big Buck!
In January, Wednesday nights will start up for the Youth Group on the 3rd at the FUNeral Home, whereas Mission Kids will not meet again until the 10th. Our first Lighthouse for the new year will take place on January 12th from 6:30-9:00pm. Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Anyone) will be back on the 16th and will continue the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:30am.
Be in prayer for all our students. Pray that God continues to show them His truth and love. Pray that they continue to be encouraged to engage with God and His Word. Pray that they own their faith and then apply their faith.
