We are so excited! This week the church doors are officially open for Worship Service AND Sunday School AND Sunday Night Bible Study!
Here are some details:
- Adult Sunday School classes will be held in the auditorium at 9am and will be led by our team of teachers: Travis Elliott, Diane Price & Gerald Casey. Please sit in the open seats on the right-hand side of the room. This session will continue to be streamed LIVE online, but in-person discussion and participation is encouraged as well! Join us if you’re able!
- Youth & Kids Sunday School classes will meet together in the gym/fellowship hall at 9am and will be led by Pastor Andrew with the help of Macey Heselton, April Lewis & Karen Willis. Students in Kindergarten through High School will participate in the Sunday School lesson together with the older ones helping the younger ones with the various activities. Please sit in the chairs provided when you enter the gym. This will be a fun time of talking about the Bible together!
- Children’s Church will begin this Sunday also! Christie Clark will be teaching VBS music to kids ages 4 thru 6th grades. Children should remain with their families during the singing portion of the 10am worship service and will be dismissed by Pastor Jeff before the sermon. Kids will move to the back part of the gym/fellowship hall where they will sit or stand on the spaces marked for them. This is going to be an active time of song and movement as we prepare for VBS!
- The Nursery is open for kids 3 and under during Sunday School with a teacher and during the worship service with parent supervision only. A speaker is tuned to the service so parents can listen to the message if they desire. That being said… we want to make it clear that children of all ages are welcome in the service! They bring life to our services and no one is bothered by the noise they make simply being children!
- Worship Service will continue to be streamed LIVE on Facebook and recorded for YouTube. Worshiping in person will continue to be encouraged with modifications in place to protect your health. As with all of these changes, if you do not yet feel comfortable participating in person, please stay home! We want what is best for each person in our church family! The radio station will continue to broadcast Pastor Jeff’s messages weekly as well (tune in to WTRH 93.3 FM on Sundays at 10am and 4:45pm).
- Sunday Night Bible Study for adults will resume on Sundays at 6pm in the gym/fellowship hall. We will pick up where we left off in our study of the Song of Solomon!
- Youth LIT will resume in person on Sunday nights at 6pm in the youth room. They will enjoy reconnecting with one another and spend some time discussing the Sunday School lesson from their perspective with Pastor Andrew.
Other Details:
- Wednesday Night Bible Study for Adults continues online and in person each week at 7pm. We are studying the book of Joshua.
- There will be a Business Meeting on Wednesday, June 10 at 7pm. All church members are encouraged to come be part of making decisions about church operations and opportunities.
- Ignite Youth will resume on Wednesday, June 24
- Office hours have returned to normal! Someone is in the office most weekdays from 8am to 3pm. Please call if you need anything: 618-704-7655.
