God is good! God has been directing and leading in our student ministries. He has been working on changing hearts and lives. I pray each day that our students realize the love God has for them and that they continue to live a life that reflects Him.
January was a month to catch our breath a little bit after a busy end of the year. We did have a fun night at Lighthouse. Pizza, volleyball, other games, and a dance off or two filled our night. On Wednesday nights the Youth Group kick off our “New” series looking at being a new creature in Christ Jesus. Mission Kids started up again in January with some new material focusing on the Faithful Promises of God.
Looking forward to February! We will kick it off on the 2nd with Lighthouse from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The Youth Group will host a Valentines Day Dinner for Sunday Night Fellowship on the 4th. The Youth need to be there by 4:30pm to help setup, cook, and coordinate the dinner that starts at 6:30pm. On the 24th the Rehoboth Association is hosting a Youth Rally at UBC in Vandalia from 4:00pm-8:00pm. It will be a time of fun, food, and worship. Finally, on the 25th the Youth Group will be leaving directly following the morning service to head out for lunch and a surprise trip.
